We are going to again have the Thanksgiving outing at the Sugar Barge Resort on Bethel Island, and we hope you will join us there. The Paradise restaurant is under new ownership and we were unable to negotiate a good price on a group outing but there will be three dinners for you out of the 5 night there. Mail in your registration and be part of the fun.
Please note, Sugar Barge is allowing us to reserve 30 spots for our rigs, so the first 30 who sign up and pay will definitely be able to go, and be together. After that we will try to get you in, but we know that you will be away from the first 30 rigs and there is no guarantee they can fit in extra rigs. Reminder: Thanksgiving trip is always limited to members–no guests for this event. . They want all rigs to stay for the 5 days; no fewer or extra days if possible.
We appreciate your consideration in getting your registration and check in by Sept 1, 08!. After that date, please send form and monies in to Betty, and she will see if she can get you in... be on time and make it easy for everyone.
Cancellation: Cancel before Oct 1, 2008 and all monies are refunded. Please call Betty Gress who will notify the Sugar Barge, then send a sell addressed, stamped envelope to Betty’s, address and she will issue a full refund. After Oct 1, 08, they have a policy of charging for all 5 days. If you have to cancel please notify Betty Gress who will call people on the waiting list. We will endeavor to help you find a substitute, but be aware of this problem if you need to cancel at the last minute.

From Benicia - Take I 680 South 5 miles to SR 4 junction. Take SR 4 east through Antioch to SR 4 & SR 160 junction.
From Rio Vista - Take SR 160 South 14 miles to junction SR 160 & SR 4.
From junction SR. 160 & SR 4 Take SR 4 east 3.5 mis. to Cypress Rd. (left turn onto Cypress Rd. this is a key turn). Take Cypress Rd east 5.1 mis. to Bethel Island Road . Turn left on Bethel Island Rd. 2.4 mis. to Gateway Rd. Take Gateway Rd east 1.0 mile to Piper Rd Take Piper Rd. North 0.3 mi. to Sugar Barge Rd. Turn right at Sugar Barge RV Resort sign. Go 0.3 miles to resort entrance.

Your committee has volunteered their time so that this club can have a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. We hope you will volunteer to make our job easier by getting your reservation in on time, by accepting any inconvenience that may arise and joining in to have a great time.
General Info: Table games in the evenings after dinner, as desired. Bunko Monday evening. Club house will be available for our entire time at Resort. Bring books and puzzles for exchange in club house Monday through Thursday. Golf, Fishing and shopping available as desired.
There is boat launching facility and rental at the resort for those wishing to fish. A championship golf course is located within ½ mile of resort for those interested in golf.
Please bring an hors d’oeuvre to share as well as your pot luck contribution. Thanks, we hope to see you there!
